Privacy Policy

Filtersight processes information needed to provide subscriptions, DNS filtering, and the features included in the plan you choose.

Account and billing

We use your email address and subscription status to provide your account, email sign-in links, and support. Sign-in links expire and can be used once. Stripe processes checkout and recurring payments; Filtersight does not receive your full payment-card number.

DNS filtering and logs

Each customer receives an individual NextDNS profile. Tier 1 disables NextDNS query logging. For Tier 2 and Tier 3, query logs are enabled to detect blocked adult-content attempts and trigger the features in those plans. These logs may contain domain names and timestamps. IP addresses are configured to be dropped from logs. NextDNS's configured retention period applies. We use the profile's logs to detect events; we do not use them to build advertising profiles.

Phone numbers and text messages

Providing a phone number and opting into Filtersight texts are optional and are not required to buy a plan. If you opt in, we use your number to send the plan's encouragement and account messages. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Twilio processes messages on our behalf.

We do not share mobile phone numbers or SMS consent information with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. We share this information with service providers only as needed to deliver Filtersight messages and operate the service.

For Tier 3, you may provide an accountability partner's number. We send that number a single invitation to opt in. We do not send partner alerts unless that person replies YES. The partner can reply STOP at any time.

AI companion

If you use the Tier 2 or Tier 3 companion, your messages and relevant conversation history are sent to Anthropic to generate replies. Do not include information you do not want processed for that purpose.

Retention and security

We retain account information while needed to provide the subscription, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain security. We use service providers such as Stripe, NextDNS, Twilio, Anthropic, email delivery, and Railway to operate the service. We apply access controls and reasonable safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
